Passenger-friendly steps

It is laudable that the Department of Civil Aviation of the Central government is soon going to initiate passenger friendly steps. It will be obligatory for the airline authorities to provide small trolleys to carry handbags from the security-check to boarding gates to all passengers. Moreover, the authorities will have to furnish golf carts free of cost to passengers, who are uble to or find it difficult to walk towards the boarding gates. Besides, the airport authorities should also ensure provision of automated buggies free of charge for all senior citizens, expectant mothers and disabled passengers in the termils.
