Going by the policies of his work as the Prime Minister of the country over the years, Narendra Modiji has proved himself as a man kindled with a deep-rooted sense of purpose to work for the betterment of India and the betterment of the world but most of all, to work for humanity.

When we talk about his humanity, we must refer to the incident that took place during a train journey in the summer of 1990. A senior Indian railway officer wrote an article based on her personal experience in a leading Indian newspaper which later turned to be very popular among the masses across the country when Modiji became the Prime Minister of the country.

The author of the article, Leena Sarma, an Assamese who was travelling as an Indian Railway (Traffic) Service probationer along with one of her friends during those days, elaborated her personal experience with Narendra Modi, a common man during those days, in that journey.

Sarma in that article shared how Modi and his friend Shankersinh Vaghela, who later became the Chief Minister of Gujarat vacated their reserved seats for the two senior Indian railway lady officers, who did not have confirmed tickets, to sleep on the floor of the bogie.

If we analyse the incentives announced by the Modi government for the poor during the time of the pandemic, it can easily be observed that from reaching out to street vendors to the construction of affordable houses in rural areas, the National Democratic Alliance-led Central government had stepped up its initiatives for the poor who are the worst affected from the coronavirus pandemic. Schemes like the construction of toilets under Swachh Bharat, cooking gas under Ujjwala Yojana, electricity connection under Saubhagya Yojana are some of the selected initiatives of PM Modiji turned to be the game-changer for the entire nation over the years.

It seems that never in history, no government in India had such deep-rooted planning for the needy as PM Modiji is doing these days.

The situation has changed now. Earlier, the poor used to run after the government to get benefits from several schemes but now the government approaches people, identify them and give facilities to them. The 'Jan Dhan' scheme has been a "game-changer" and served as the foundation for poverty alleviation initiatives of his government. Six schemes that PM Modiji wants to reach all include Ayushman Bharat that offers free medical insurance, Ujjwala Yojana that offers free LPG connections, the twin life insurance schemes backed by the government, the Atal Pension Scheme, the PM Housing Scheme and Har Ghar Jal Scheme for drinking water.

If we look at the development initiatives in the Northeast, one thing every northeasterner must acknowledge is that the development initiatives in the region have changed extensively during the Modiji regime.

Gone are the days when the governments of the Northeast had to toil hard to move their files in New Delhi. Now, the situation has reached such an extent that the Central ministers, including PM himself camp in the region to take the lead role for the development of the entire Northeast.

It's been observed that Prime Minister Modiji is not a politician that has risen to a pinnacle of political success on muscle power or money power. He has matured and grown with the power of his sheer intellect and hard work. He is a leader that has come from the common people of India and now is the hope of the common people of India.

When we talk about the peace and prosperity of my motherland India as a whole, I trust PM Modiji because his intent for India is pure. It's been observed that he puts India first and that is the only truth that matters to me. In simple words, Narendra Modiji is a good human being who has a dream of developed India where the development of the Northeast gets top-most priority. His tenure over the years has proved it immensely.
