The old warhorse of Indian politics Sharad Pawar seems never out of the game. Pawar, often referred as Maratha strongman, is a former Congress man who later questioned Sonia Gandhi's elevation as AICC chief and also as prospective candidate from the party to the coveted Prime Ministerial post. He resigned from the party along with ex Speaker PA Sangma objecting to Sonia Gandhi's foreign origin issue. NCP was given birth by power-hungry Pawar with our beloved Lt. PA Sangma later on ditched his partner and again supported the Congress government subsequently. Coming to the present scenario, Pawar's party is in hot seat in Maharashtra again with the Congress and the Shiv Sena. Pawar uses constant tactics of blackmailing and creating a state of confusion. This has definitely kept the debutante Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray in tender hooks, though he deserves so because he too has betrayed pre-poll ally in his desire for power. Who knows what is stored in the mind of the wily fox. Time will tell who will be made scapegoat in Maharashtra by this 'power-hungry Pawar'.
