Ragging in educatiol institutions

The most worrying aspect of the Supreme Court panel’s study is an overall acceptance of ragging by students and their tendency to justify and even endorse the mece as a means to build relationships on campus. Anti-ragging mechanisms have been put in place after repeated incidents of abuse and violence, leading to loss of precious lives in educatiol institutions across the country. At a time when these systems should be tested and loopholes fixed, the study seems to suggest that the battle for awareness needs to be fought afresh. Parents and teachers have to ensure zero tolerance to such behavior so that it does not remain only on paper.
