Time to act

In 2016, prior to assembly elections, there was a huge demand for Ashok Sarma to be given the BJP ticket for the lbari Assembly constituency from the BJP supporters. As a result, he was given a ticket and came out with a thumping win. MLA Sarma carries huge expectations from the people of lbari, which is unfortutely one of the backward districts of the State.

However, post win things have not changed as lbari has remained the same as it was earlier. The roads are in dilapidated conditions, no provision for potable water, public uril system is almost nil, no street lights, etc. People of the district are deprived of these basic amenities.

One year is already over and now it is time to act. The mandate which Sarma got in last polls cannot be guaranteed if he doesn’t change his working style.

After being elected as an MLA, only noticeable changes that can be seen are that his fortunes and assets have multiplied.
