Unnecessary controversy

Unnecessary controversy

The recent buzz going around is that Kendriya Vidyalayas (KV) schools preach or propagate Hindutva philosophy. Such unnecessary controversies are being created by a section of people to make their presence feel in the society.

Recitation of sanskrit slokas in the morning prayers in KV schools have suddenly become a cause of concern for some people, accusing the present NDA government of propagating aggressive Hindutva ideology among students.
Now the question arises is what about the missiory schools? People are aware of what the missiory schools preach. The morning prayers are recited in English with verses from Bible but there is no objection from anybody.
The ‘super secularists’ never see or notice any threat to Indian culture. In Guwahati, one of the prominent schools still today refuses permission for Saraswati Puja in their campus. These things never come to the notice of the so-called ‘secular brigade’ of the country. For them such issues are not at all a matter to ponder. The prime fodder for the ‘secular brigade’ is when they can pounce on issues that are associated with the majority community.
