Assam Floods: ICAI CA Foundation Exam 2022 Postponed

Guwahati: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, ICAI announced on June 23, via an official notice, that the ICAI CA Foundation Exam 2022 has been delayed as a result of the prevailing flood situation that has wreaked havoc in the state of Assam.

According to the official notice, the authority has decided to postpone Chartered Accountants Foundation Examination, Paper – I, Principles and Practice of Accounting and Paper – II, Business Laws and Business Correspondence and Reporting due to the ongoing floods at Silchar.

The exams were scheduled to be conducted on June 24, 2022 and June 26, 2022 respectively in Silchar.

The notice said that the new dates for both the exams will soon be declared on the official website of ICAI, icai.org.

The ICAI notice added that the schedule of Foundation Examination announced via Announcement No – 13 for CA Exam/M/2022 dated on January 21, 2022 and March 19, 2022 shall remain unchanged.

Candidates are advised to stay tuned for further announcements.
