GATE 2022 Admit Card Release Date Postponed: Check Revised Dates And Steps To Download

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur which is the exam conducting body for GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) has changed the release date of GATE 2022 admits cards.

The admit cards release date which was set earlier has been postponed and is now scheduled to release on 7 January 2022 as informed through the official website.

Once the admit cards are uploaded by IIT Kharagpur on its website, the candidates can check and download hall tickets by visiting the official website- gate.iit.kgp.ac.in.

It is important to note by candidates that all updates regarding the admit cards and GATE examination will be made available on the website. The aspirants must keep checking the website for further information.

The GATE 2022 examination is scheduled to be conducted by IIT Kharagpur from 15 January 2022and it will be concluded by13 February 2022. The exam will be held through CBT (Computer-based Test) process.

The test will be held following two sessions on each day of which the first session will start from morning 09:00 am to 12:00 noon and the second session will begin from 02:30 pm and end at 05:30 pm.

Here's how to download the GATE 2022 Admit Card after released online:

• Firstly, the candidates must open the official website of IIT Kharagpur that is gate.iit.kgp.ac.in.

• To proceed the candidate must log in to the page and for that click on the option 'log in'

• Enter log in credentials such as enrollment no and password

• Solve the arithmetic expression provided to log in

• GATE 2022 Admit Card will be displayed on the screen with the opening of a new page

• Download admit cards for future purposes

• Take a printout to carry the hard copy into the examination hall.
