XAT 2022 Exam Analysis: Expected Cut-Off, Result Dates And All You Need To Know

Xavier School of Management or formerly Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI) had conducted the examination for XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test) 2022 on Sunday 2 January.

The test was held following CBT (computer-based test) process from morning 9:30 am to 12:40 pm afternoon.

After one day of the examination, various coaching centres and institutions are now providing the exam analysis and answer keys for XAT 2022. The exam analysis was made on the basis of feedback from experts in the particular field.

The question paper had five sections which were divided into two parts. The first part consisted of data interpretation, logical ability, quantitative ability, decision making and verbal questions. On the other hand, the second part consisted of essay writing and general knowledge.

A total of 101 questions were given to answer by candidates on XAT 2022 of which 100 are multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and one was a descriptive type question.

According to suggestions by experts in the case of the difficulty level, the question paper was moderate but the initial feedback from students suggests that the paper this year was easy compared to the last year.

This time students reported that the Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC) section was easier than the other sections. Choosing a topic for the essay was confusing as the candidates said on feedbacks. The topics were Management and academics and Capitalism & Democracy.

It is expected that the results of XAT 2022 will be declared by the last week of this month or at the very first week of February 2022. The XAT exam is conducted by Xavier School of Management for admission into various management courses.

Every Institution has set different cut-off marks and those candidates who secure the given marks will get the opportunity to get admission into affiliated colleges.
