Deepika Padukone, the versatile actress of Bollywood will soon be immortalized at Madame Tussauds London where her first ever wax statue will be showcased. Deepika has already carved a niche for herself in Bollywood and she has a massive fan following across the world.

Deepika made her Bollywood debut with "Om Shanti Om" a journey that have seen her experience to a whole lot of success. So, it is not a surprise that she has been chosen to be featured as one of the celebrity wax statues at Madame Tussauds, London. Deepika will be Joining the famous personalities like Amitabh Bachchan, Sachin Tendulkar, Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif.

Earlier today, she went live on Facebook to share something exciting all the way from London “It is so much of fun, excitement and I feel a lot of gratitude because you know when you give your fans a little more than just the movie, then it is really special. I hope they will enjoy it as much as we enjoy creating it.”

When Deepika got a call from Madame Tussauds London she replied,“ I am very very excited. The only time I visited Madamme Tussauds was in London when I was very little with my parents. That memory has sort of stayed with me, obviously. And then to receive a letter and now to be a part of that, and to actually experience what goes into making these wax figures. I think Madame Tussauds is so iconic in so many ways, so it’s really special.”
