Assam's Raktim Thakuria Got Into Top 5 Finalists In Sony TV Reality Show

Guwahati: A dancer from Assam named Raktim Thakuria has made it to the top 5 finalists in season two of Sony TV reality show India's Best Dancer.

Thakuria, 22-year-old comes from Saderi village in Assam's Bajali district.

His splendid performance in the show which is considered one of the best dance shows in the country grabbed the audience attention.

Apart from being a talented dancer, Thakuria has pursued BA in Political Science from Delhi University. His father Gajendra Nath Thakuria had worked with Doordarshan in Guwahati as a programme producer.

On the other hand, his mother, Moromi Thakuria is an English teacher at a Junior college in Hangerabari in Guwahati.
