Barack and Michelle Obama filmed dancing at Beyonce and JAY-Z's concert
Barack Obama and Michelle Obama brought more entertainment to Beyonce and JAY-Z‘s concert. On the Run II tour stop in Landover (Maryland), Barack and Michelle Obama got out of their seats and threw their hands in the air. The video was captured by Anna Bailey. It is hard to tell whether Bay or JAY tune was playing, due to the noise at the venue. The viral moments marked Mrs. Obama second time as she has been jamming to music from the Carter’s this summer. In mid-July, fan video showed her with Beyonce’s mother, Tina Knowles Lawson. As JAY-Z performed at the on the Run II tour stop in Paris, Mrs. Obama swayed and clapped.
The Obamas and Carters have a rich history stretching back to Mr. Obama’s first term as USA President. In 2008, Beyonce performed during Obama’s first inauguration and she went on to collaborate with Mrs Obama on her “Let’s Move” campaign combating childhood obesity. She was the first lady, who later returned the favor by appearing onstage during Beyoncé’s performance at the Global Citizen Festival in 2015.
Mr. Obama at JAY-JAY-Z's induction into the Songwriters Hall Frame in June 2017, said that he likes to think Mr. Carter and he understands each other. Nobody who met us when we were younger men would have expected us to be where we are today.
He also added that they know what it is like not come from much and to know people who did not get the same breaks that they did. So they tried to properly open the door of opportunity so that it is a little easier for those who come up behind us to succeed as well.
