MUMBAI: Actors Kareena Kapoor Khan and Amrita Arora had tested positive for Covid 19. Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, Mumbai's civic body, has ordered RT-PCR tests for all persons who came into touch with them.

The stars, who are close friends, were recently spotted at multiple events. They were photographed last week in Mumbai at a reception given by Anil Kapoor's daughter Rhea Kapoor.

Authorities filed a FIR against the organisers of Punjabi rapper AP Dhillon's event.

According to the allegation, thousands of people were seen partying without masks and without any social distancing at the Canadian singer's live show.

The show was attended by actors Janhvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, and her brother Ibrahim Ali Khan.

Kareena also recently attended a reunion party at Karan Johar's home. Malaika, Alia Bhatt, Karisma, Amrita, and Arjun Kapoor were among those who attended the bash. Everyone was present to commemorate the 20th anniversary of 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham.'

Kareena is currently in-home quarantine, according to Vinayak Vispute, assistant commissioner of the H/West (Bandra West) ward. It's unclear whether Amrita is also in quarantine at home.

Kareena will next be seen alongside Aamir Khan in the film 'Laal Singh Chaddha.' The film is an official version of the Tom Hanks-led Hollywood picture 'The Forrest Gump.' She also has a film called 'Takht,' which stars Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor, and Anil Kapoor.

In just 24 hours, the active COVID-19 case count has dropped by 825 cases.
