Indian veteran actor Govind Arun Ahuja, known popularly as Govinda, turns a year older day as celebrates his 58th birthday on Tuesday 21 December 2021.

Govinda is known as the comedy king in Bollywood for his natural talent in comedy.

Govinda has won millions of hearts for his outstanding performance in Hindi cinemas. The actor has a huge contribution to the world of the Hindi film industry with many hits.

He has performed in more than 165 films throughout his career in acting. He has a huge fan base across the country which showers immense love on his 58th birthday by wishing him on social media platforms.

The actor is associated with various genres of movies including comedy, action, dance, thriller and romance which are the main genres. Govinda is also given the title of No. 1 as he ended a number of films with this tag.

Govinda made his debut in acting with the 1986 movie named 'Ilzam' directed by Shibu Mitra. Since then he was featured in movies one after another. For his talent in movies delivering excellent comedy, dance, action and chemistry the actor has received many awards including the Filmfare Special Award, Filmfare Award for Best Comedian and he also received 12 Filmfare Award nominations.

In the late 80s and 90s, Govinda had a different position in Bollywood as during that time he became the most loved actor for his impressive dance moves, spot-on comic timings and facial expressions in the films.

Govinda was born on 21 December 1963 in Virar of Maharashtra and got married in the year 1987 to Sunita Ahuja. They have two children named Yashwardhan Ahuja and Tina Ahuja.
