GUWAHATI: On Monday, Bollywood diva Kangana Ranaut finished filming the Assam portion of her next historical drama, "Emergency." Kangana posted a series of images from the movie's sets to Instagram with the caption, "Some BTS stills from Emergency Assam schedule."

Additionally, she posted a video to her stories with the remark, "Now that's a wrap! The Assam schedule is over." Previously, in September, Kangana finished filming the "Emergency" schedule in Delhi. She shared the news on her Instagram story. It's a Delhi schedule wrap, one of her team members commented in a video that she uploaded.

Kangana Ranaut's first solo directing effort is "Emergency." With Kangana playing the title role of the late politician, it centers on the life of former prime minister Indira Gandhi. In addition to Kangana, the movie also has important performances by Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhry, Vishak Nair, and Shreyas Talpade.

The movie has yet to have its official release date announced. In addition to "Emergency," the "Queen" star also has the film "Tejas" by director Sarwesh Mewara in the works, in which she will play an Indian Air Force pilot. The movie has yet to have its official release date announced.
