A video of a hairstylist making the hair of a woman went hugely viral on the internet as the hairstylist was seen spitting on a woman's hair while combing her hair and giving a haircut during a training session.

According to reports, the woman in the video seen sitting in the chair was namely Pooja Gupta from Baraut of Uttar Pradesh and the hairstylist who spitted on her hair is identified as a celebrity hairstylist Jawed Habib.

Jawed Habib is a well-known hairstylist who often remains reserved for celebrity hairstyling. He is the chairperson and MD (Managing Director) of Jawed Habib Hair and Beauty Limited which is one of the leading beauty and hair salons in the country.

As the social media users came across the video they started sharing the video with hatred, expressing their anger over such an unacceptable act by a reputed hairstylist.

Taking the matter seriously netizens burst out and shared the video widely on the micro-blogging site of Twitter insulting Jawed Habib for the disgusting behaviour.

It is reported that the incident occurred on Wednesday 5 January at Muzaffarnagar of Uttar Pradesh but the matter was not known until the video got viral on Thursday 6 January.

The woman in the video opened up about the incident and said that she was called up at the stage by hairstylist Jawed Habib at the time of their seminar programme on hairstyling.

In the training session on Wednesday, Jawed called her on stage to show an example of a haircut applying it to Pooja's hair. She said while demonstrating the haircut Jawed purposely spitted on her hair twice and suggested spitting when someone has not shampooed the hair due to scarcity of water.

Pooja mentioned that Jawed has further taught all the attendees to apply the similar tip to their customers. He made a joke over the spitting and people also started laughing which resulted in affecting the reputation of Pooja as mentioned by her.

However, Jawed shared an apology video and said sorry for his behavior justifying it as an act of humour while doing workshops. He says he had no intention of hurting anyone and these type of workshops gets longer so he had to turn them a bit humorous.
