Vivek Agnihotri's film 'The Kashmir Files' is making a remarkable profit is the box office after its release as the film is now competing with the SS Rajamouli directorial 'Baahubali: The Conclusion starring Prabhas.

As per the weekend collection the film is set to beat the record previously set by blockbuster 'Baahubali: The Conclusion' which earned Rupees 1,810 crores as an estimated box office collection.

The first week's earnings of 'The Kashmir Files' ended with a total of Rupees 95 to 97 crores and Thursday 17 March again added Rupees 10 crore net at the box office.

Earlier, 'Baahubali: The Conclusion' and Dangal by Nitesh Tiwari were the only two movies to register such an outstanding business at BO collection on the seventh day of release.

The 2nd week of the film starts today amid the Holi celebration across the country but the film is expected to beat the 8th-day record of 'Baahubali: The Conclusion.'

Friday 11 March (opening day)- Rupees 3.55 crore

Saturday 12 March- Rupees 8.50 crore

Sunday 13 March- Rupees 15.10 crore

Monday 14 March- Rupees 15.5 crore

Tuesday 15 March- Rupees 18 crore

Wednesday 16 March- Rupees 19.05 crore

Thursday 17 March- Rupees 18 crore

This weekend the film's collection is likely to break all existing records by making new box office records and the action-comedy 'Bachchan Pandey' starring Akshay Kumar to release today would clash.

The historical drama written and directed by Vivek Agnihotri has gained immense success because of the concept depicting Kashmir insurgency's truth and performance by the entire cast.

The film cast Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakroborty, Pallavi Joshi and Darshan Kumar in the lead roles to depict the truth of Kashmiri Pandits who were forced to live their homes and still survive like refugees.
