Popular author and former film actress Twinkle Khanna turn a year older today on Wednesday 29 December 2021. Actor Akshay Kumar made the day special for his wife on her 49th birthday by posting birthday wish along with beautiful vacation pictures from the Maldives.
Akshay also wrote a poetic rhyming birthday note expressing his love for his wife.
Apart from being an author and her career in the Hindi film industry, Twinkle is also known as an interior designer, film producer and newspaper columnist.
Twinkle Khanna published her first non-fiction book in the year 2015 titled MrsFunnybones. The book was later declared as the best seller and this resulted in making Khanna the highest-selling female writer of India in the same year. After such a success with her first publication, Khanna wrote another book titled 'The Legend of Laxmi Prasad' which was a collection of many short narratives.
The last book of Twinkle which was her first-ever novel was released in the year 2018 named Pyjamas are Forgiving which led her in becoming the highest-selling woman author in the country in that particular year.
Twinkle shares her birthday with her father and later Indian popular actor Rajesh Khanna. On her 49th birthday and the birth anniversary of her father Twinkle remembers her father by posting a throwback picture along with him. Twinkle made her debut in Bollywood in the year 1996 with her performance in the film Barsat.
Khanna was born on 29 December 1973 to parents Dimple Kapadia and Rajesh Khanna in Mumbai at the Jaslok Hospital & Research Centre. Khanna got married to Akshay Kumar in the year 2001 and had two children daughter named Nitara Kumar and a son named Aarav Kumar.
Twinkle Khanna has received many awards for her contribution in cinemas and as an author including the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut, Crossword Popular Non-Fiction Award and others.
