Veteran Actor Mithilesh Chaturvedi Passes Away

New Delhi: Veteran TV actor Mithilesh Chaturvedi passes away after suffering a cardiac arrest on Wednesday evening.

The actor breathed his last in Lucknow after suffering a cardiac ailment and the same was confirmed by his son-in-law on social media.

Chaturvedi was a part of the entertainment industry for decades and acted in many other Bollywood films including Koi Mil Gaya with Hrithik Roshan, Gadar Ek Prem Katha with Sunny Deol, Satya, Bunty Aur Babli, Krrish, Taal, Reddy, Ashoka, and Fiza.

He also worked in many advertisement films. In addition to this, the actor also appeared in TV shows like - Patiala Babes and web shows like Scam, where he played the role of Ram Jethmalani.

His last film was Gulabo Sitabo opposite Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana which was released on Amazon Prime Video.

After this, he acted in several other Bollywood films including Koi Mil Gaya with Hrithik Roshan, Gadar Ek Prem Katha with Sunny Deol, Satya, Bunty Aur Babli, Krrish, Taal, Reddy, Ashoka and Fiza.

Reportedly, director Jaideep Sen praised his acting as well as his character and being a good person and said that such people are rarely seen in the world even after being a star, they sometimes have a sense of pride.

An emotional Jaideep Sen said that 'Mithilesh ji and he had a very close relationship in 'Koi Mil Gaya' and he had the privilege of working with him in 'Crazy 4'.

''Crazy 4 was my first film as a director. It is very sad when you know someone so closely and they leave you. I have worked with them a lot,'' he added.
