Court Issues Notification Against Nawazuddin Siddique

MUMBAI: Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddique, who is known for his mesmerising acting skills and presentation on screen, is currently on the buzz due to his ongoing controversy with his wife.

Siddique's wife Aaliya Siddique accused him along with his family for physical and domestic violence. Mumbai court has now issued a notice against the actor regarding the same allegations.

In her statement, Aaliya said, "My access to the kitchen is banned and I have made the living room sofa, my bed. My friends who send food are not allowed to come in and I am scared to step out, even till the gate to fetch the food. What if doors are closed behind my back?"

Siddique's mother Mehrunisa also registered an FIR against his wife for alleged trespassing. Mehrunisa claimed that Aaliya Siddique is not yet married to Nawazuddin Siddique. Offended by this statement, Siddique's wife Aaliya filed a counter complaint under section 509.

In the statement she asserted that, the family restricted her from the basic amenities of life. Aaliya's lawyer claimed that, she is Nawazuddin's lawful wife, and the actor also accepts this publicly. So the FIR against Aaliya based on trespassing in purely wrong, states the lawyer.

Moreover, no matter if the case issued against Nawaz is a rape case or domestic violence, his wife is restricted from food, movement inside the house and mental and physical abuse, the lawyer stated. Furthermore, Aaliya's lawyer informed that, both Nawazuddin and his manager refrained from from reverting back to the notice sent.

They have decided to maintain silence regarding the matter, added the lawyer. Additionally, the lawyer also claimed that, the opposite party also threatened them. Aaliya is Nawazuddin's second wife and has two children, Yaani Siddique and Shora Siddique.
