Deepika Padukone And Ranveer Singh Wedding: Twitter Has Fun Time Assigning Roles to Celebrity Guests

While the guest list for Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh's November wedding is reportable to be little, Twitter user @Mr_LoLwa has created his own version of the roles bound industry guests may play. From calling director Sanjay Leela Bhansali the 'fufaji' who set the couple to declaring Vin Diesel to be the special NRI guest, the list pokes fun at traditional Indian weddings and every one the bells and whistles that come at the side of them.

Others that were given cool new titles including Deepika's ex, Ranbir Kapoor, who was declared the 'Apni ex ki shadi mai dard bhare gana gane wala ashiq (The former lover who sings unhappy songs at his ex's wedding)' and Karan Johar, 'Dulhe Ka ameer jija (the groom's wealthy uncle)'.

The Twitter user conjointly poked fun at Shah Rukh Khan (responsible elder brother), Sanjay Dutt (drunk uncle) and Amitabh Bachchan ('tauji').

In a joint statement announcing their wedding on the weekday, Deepika and Ranveer wrote on Twitter, "With the blessings of our families, gives us immense joy in sharing that our wedding is set to take place on the 14th and 15th of November, 2018. We thank you for all the love you have showered upon us over the years and seek your blessings as we embark on this incredible journey of love, loyalty, friendship and togetherness."

As soon as the wedding card hit the social media, desires and love started pouring in from all quarters. Karan Johar, Mouni Roy, Kriti Sanon and Karisma Kapoor were among the celebs who showered their love on Deepika and Ranveer.

While Karan commented on Deepika's post, writing, "Lots and lots of love!!!!!!," with heart smileys, on Ranveer's post, he wrote, "Badhai ho!!!!!!". Kriti and Karisma wished congratulations to Deepika and Ranveer for their wedding.

Sonam Kapoor also commented on Ranveer Singh's wedding card and wrote, "Congratulations! And loads of love to both of you!"

While they've never admitted to dating, it is rumoured that they began seeing each other while making Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ramleela. They've worked together on two other films - Padmavati and Bajirao Mastani. Deepika Padukone in a recent appearance on the talk show Koffee with Karan indicated that she has been dating Ranveer for the past six years.

It was reportable that later when Deepika Padukone started filming in Happy New Year, Ranveer flew to Dubai to spend some time with Deepika. This was followed by photos of the couple where they were seen partying and having a blast along at crowned head Shah Rukh Khan's party. In fact, Ranveer has often visited Deepika on the sets of her films over the years; he was spotted on the sets of Chennai Express as well as that of Piku. The actors since they have frequently been photographed in each other's company at various parties and film events, therefore sparking relationship rumours.

During the IIFA 2015, Ranveer Singh even went down on one knee and proposed to his lady love Deepika in front of the entire film fraternity. And of late, the two have been showering love on each other on various social media sites.
