The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), probing the alleged nexus between drug peddlers and Bollywood celebrities, raided residence of KarishmaPrakash, manager of Bollywood actor DeepikaPadukone. The apex drug law enforcement agency seized a small quantity of hashish during the raid.

The NCB has summoned Prakash on Wednesday to join the probe. The alleged drug nexus between drug peddlers and people associated with Bollywood came to light after actor Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide.

Notably, Prakash was questioned by the NCB in September last month. The NCB officials recovered 1.8 grams of Hashish during a search at her house in Versova area.

Bollywood actresses DeepikaPadukone, Sara Ali Khan and ShraddhaKapoor were questioned by the NCB in September in a drugs-related case linked to the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.

So far arrested 23 persons have been arrested by the apex drug law enforcement agency as part of its investigation in the drug case linked to SSR's death. (Agencies)
