Doctor Movie Review; Dark Entertainment Movie by Nelson with Humour

The movie Doctor with an audience rating summary of 4.7 directed by Director Nelson Dilipkumar has been released on 9 October 2021. The story of the film is very simple but the role of Sivakarthikeyan as a comedian makes it a unique one and much watchable. The complete cast of Nelson's movie includes Sivakarthikeyan, Priyanka, Vinay, Yogi Babu, Redin Kinsley and Archana. Sivakarthikeyan plays a very dark and vital role in the movie as a doctor namely Varun who tries to find a daughter who is kidnapped under some circumstances by some kidnappers. At the beginning of the movie, Varun i.e. Sivakarthikeyan receives a phone call from his fiancée whose name is Padmini in the show whose role is played by actress Priyanka.

She is the phone call says that she has decided to break the engagement because of the reason that Varun is not much popular or fashionable. Varun gets devastated and confused to hear it and tries to know the real reason behind the call off of their marriage and the rejection he faced. So with the motive to learn the fact Varun and some of his friends came home but they get to hear that he is not an emotional person with a lack of caring nature. In between all this drama and as soon as the wedding is cancelled everyone heard information that Padmini's niece is not found anywhere, she has gone missing from the school. The family of that girl thought that their daughter has been kidnapped and it is the case of kidnapping and then they asked for help from the police according to their suspects. The police didn't pay much attention in that case and the family was disappointed and in that case, Varun thought of offering his helping hands and goes against the law to find the missing girl. The main core of the story comes from the question that will Varun be able to reach the kidnappers and could save the girl.

Sivakarthikeyan as a comedy actor worked in various plots with lots of twists as a doctor and his minimal dialogues bring full of entertainment in the movie. The movie Doctor with comedy in the sinful and wrongful situation with the making of materialistic scenes portrays a unique story for the audience. Sometimes in some parts of the movie, Sivakarthikeyan looks like delivering some of his lines or dialogues as a robot which seems to be very unnatural and unemotional but as the movie is able to keep the audience engaged it becomes attractive for them. Director Nelson did his best in showing effortless laughter even in serious situations and successfully makes the audience laugh. In the way being a doctor the actor uses the humour he gets suspended which made some of the sequences feel fresh. Yogi Babu usually plays the role of very little comedy in the movie Doctor he gets a terrific portion. The music added in the movie by Anirudh Ravichnadra makes the film more interesting and the villain in the movie as Vinay brought to light in most of the scenes.
