Dubai Police Detains Mika Singh For Alleged Sexual Misconduct, Team Releases Updates

Singer Mika Singh has been detained in Dubai after a Brazilian girl complained that he sent her obscene messages. Mika was in Dubai to perform at an awards show and was arrested at AM from a bar in Bur Dubai. A complained was lodged against him by a Brazilian juvenile person. Mika allegedly sent obscene pictures on Whatsapp. The complaint was lodged at the Muraqqabaat police station and Mika has been taken to Abu Dhabi jail. Dubai Police confirmed to the media that the singer is in their custody for sexual harassment charges.

Sources informed to the media that Mika Singh sent the juvenile person indecent photos along with promising her job in a Bollywood film. He performed at the awards event and it absolutely was followed by a private party. Mika's friends tried to urge him discharged from jail. His team member confirmed to the media that he has been detained within the UAE.

The Indian Consulate has not been contacted yet by Dubai police officials or Mika's team. We have not been approached so far and we believe that he is in Abu Dhabi," Indian Consulate sources told Gulf News. Gulf News reached out to the singer's publicist but he declined to comment.

Mika had taken to his Instagram account to share that he will be performing in Dubai. He also shared a photo with Akon on social media.
