'Game of Thrones' star Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas welcome first baby together

Guwahati: Now for some good news amid the doom and gloom of coronavirus! Priyanka Chopra's brother-in-law Joe Jonas and actress wife Sophie Turner have welcomed their first child together.

Joe had married the Game of Thrones actress in May of last year at a lavish ceremony in France after a much-publicized courtship. They had gotten engaged in 2017. Before heading to Europe for their marriage, Turner and Jonas eloped in Las Vegas after the Billboard Music Awards in May 2019. They exchanged Ring Pops in front of an Elvis Presley impersonator.

According to reports in international media, the couple, who live in LA, welcomed their first baby last Wednesday at an LA-area hospital.

According to reports, the child is a girl and has been named Willa. Sounds grand, doesn't it? 'Willa' means the same as 'will', which is a common name among boys. The name, to be fairly honest, reminds us of Sophie Turner's role in the iconic Game of Thrones series, where the actress plays a steely and resolute character who stands firm despite misery and misfortune surrounding her.

Although the entire world is waiting with bated breath to catch a glimpse of Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas' child, the celebrity couple is yet to reveal any pictures of the baby.

Sophie after her pregnancy became every tabloid's favorite and was seen around town wearing some rather snazzy outfits. The diva is known for her sense of high fashion and even while she was pregnant, she did not let her guard down and kept wowing the shutterbugs and the paparazzi with her sleek and chic designs.
