'Gulabo Sitabo Screams of Diligent Writing' Says Amitabh Bachchan

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who has started shooting for the Gulabo Sitabo in Lucknow, says the film's script screams of diligent writing and enthusiastic preparation. "Stepping out into another set horizon, a venture that screams of some diligent writing and some enthusiastic preparation," Amitabh Bachchan wrote on his blog along with a few photographs of him and director Shoojit Sircar. He added: "Another start to finish. Another with the same director and crew through several ads, and films done together, the understanding, the immediate fulfilment of where it shall go, and the comfort of creative license." Gulabo Sitabo, which also stars Ayushmann Khurrana, will release on April 24, 2020. Written by Sircar's frequent collaborator Juhi Chaturvedi of Vicky Donor, Piku and October fame, Gulabo Sitabo is produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar. This is the first time Ayushmann will be seen sharing screen with the cine icon.

Recently, Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has once again tried to bring a smile into the face of a group of ill-fated people. This time, Bachchan has donated Rs 5 lakh each to the families of 49 CRPF jawans who were martyred in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama in a terror attack.

Before this gesture of love and generosity, Mr. Bachchan had paid off the loans of 2100 farmers from Bihar just a few days back. It was then only he had mentioned it in his blog that another responsibility is to be fulfilled by him shortly and certainly, he was speaking about the families of the Pulwama martyrs.

After making the donations, senior Bachchan wrote, "Another promise fulfilled .. I had wished to give some monetary gesture and consideration to the family .. I did .. The distribution is done under the aegis of the CRPF seniors, for the brave hearts were from the CRPF .. It took a while to get the names and addresses of those that lost their lives, but our efforts were fruitful, even when we had given the intention, and sought advice or indication of how I could help them .. Finally it came from the GOI as well as through personal account …"

After posting the details of his great deeds, Bachchan also shared pictures of him and his children Sweta and Abhishek along with the kins of the martyrs.
