‘Gully Boy’ wins big, Ranveer and Alia Bhatt bag best actor and actress trophy

The 65th Amazon Filmfare Awards 2020 was hosted in Guwahati on Saturday. The star-studded event was hosted by Karan Johar, Vicky Kaushal, and Varun Dhawan. ‘Gully Boy’ bagged several awards while Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Ayushmann Khurrana and Kartik Aaryan entertained the audience with some truly power-packed performances. Several Bollywood celebrities took home the prestigious Black Lady.
‘Gully Boy’ won the Best Film Award. Best Director Award was won by Zoya Akhtar for ‘Gully Boy’. Best Film (Critics) Award was won by ‘Article 15’ (Anubhav Sinha) and ‘Sonchiriya’ (Abhishek Chaubey). Best Actor In A Leading Role (Male) Award was given to Ranveer Singh for ‘Gully Boy’. Best Actor (Critics) was won by Ayushmann Khurrana for ‘Article 15’.
Best Actor In A Leading Role (Female) Award was won by Alia Bhatt for ‘Gully Boy’.
Bhumi Pednekar and Taapsee Pannu got Best Actress (Critics) Award for ‘Saand Ki Aankh’. (Agencies)
