One of the most paid actresses of South Cinemas Nayanthara has turned 37 this year on Thursday 18 November. The actress has celebrated her special day with her fiancé Vignesh Shivan, a filmmaker who surprised her with a beautiful birthday celebration. Nayanthara was born on 18 November 1984 in Thiruvalla of Kerala.

The Lady superstar Nayanthara has worked in many films in different languages with great film personalities and has become one of the most sought in Tamil cinemas. Nayanthara has not just earned fame from the Tamil film industry but she is also a well-known figure from Malayalam and Telugu film industries.

Her acting in the perfect roles in movies is loved by the audience which helped her gain popularity across the country and also outside. Her efforts in appearing predominantly in different movies are always visible which shows her passion and determination towards acting. Her contribution has led to the success and hits of many Indian movies whether it may be Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam or Telugu.

Nayanthara has won the tag of "Lady Superstar" for her charismatic acting on-screen in more than 75 films including all Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Telugu films. Her debut films were Laksmini (2006) in Telugu and Ayya (2005) in Tamil.

Nayanthara has won numerous awards for her excellent performance in acting such as the Filmfare Award for Best Actress- Tamil in 2014, 2016 and 2018, Filmfare Award for Best Actress- Telugu in 2012, Filmfare Award for Best Actress- Malayalam in 2017, the Asianet Film Awards for Best Actress in 2011 for her film Bodyguard, Asianet Film Award for Best New Face of the Year (Female) in 2004 for Manassinakkare.
