Hina Khan Aka Komolika Still in The Nostalgia of Akshara, Check Out Here!

Hina Khan made her entry as Komolika in last night’s episode of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2. Fans are going crazy on Twitter and gushing over the actress. In a very recent live interaction with fans, the actress recalled signing as Akshara on the log sheet rather than Komolika on the first day of her shoot for Kasautii Zindagii Kay. Hina Khan played the role of Akshara in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai for over eight years. She then quit the show to induce an image makeover and took part in the reality shows like Khatron Ke Khiladi and Bigg Boss 11; both the shows gave us a glimpse of what Hina Khan is in her real life.

Coming back to Hina’s nostalgia moment on the sets of KZK, she told to her fans, “Every actor has got to fill the log sheet and mention their in and out time and also state the name of their character. I somehow merely wrote Akshara within the character name column. I completely forgot that I was no longer Akshara and was Komolika now. It had been such a homesick yet amusing moment on behalf of me.” She also explained it further saying that she never compete for another fictitious character when Akshara that is why she signed her character name as Akshara quite instinctively.

She adds, “I understand why it happened. I have been Akshara for so many years and then I went on a break and did reality shows. So coming back to doing fiction, I wrote Akshara because that was the name I had been living and writing in the character name section for years now, so was just used to it. But the moment I realised that I was Komolika, I immediately corrected it.”

Hina Khan set the internet on fire when Ekta Kapoor frees the primary promo of her look as Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2. The new age Komolika is as sexy and cruel as the previous one, except that she is sexier than before. Hina told the media, “I got a call from Ekta’s team to meet her. She took me by surprise by offering the role within minutes of the meeting. She said she was keen that I played the part and asked me to take my time. When I asked her why she wanted me for a negative role, she said that I should prove my versatility to the world.”

The actress also revealed that the promo shoot of her entry in the show was very nostalgic for her. She said, “It was like history repeating itself. Nine years ago, I started playing Akshara (the lead character in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai) with an introduction scene in which flowers are falling on her face and it was the exact same thing for Komolika.” Hina also added that the audience should watch KZK as a new show and avoid comparisons altogether. She also says that she used to watch KZK with her family when she was a kid.
