Gigi Hadid Pledges to Donate Earnings from 2022 Fashion Shows to Ukraine And Palestine
The American supermodel took to Instagram to announce her decision of supporting the Ukrainian and Palestinian with her earnings from this season's fashion show.
In a recent announcement, Hadid promised that she will the donating her money from this fashion month to those suffering from war situations both in Ukraine and Palestine.
On Sunday 6 March the fashion influencer took to her social media account of Instagram to make the major announcement that her earnings from the Fall 2022 shows will be given to help those Ukrainian and Palestinian people affected by war.
The 26-year-old supermodel wrote that 'Having a set Fashion Month schedule has meant that my colleagues and I often present new fashion collections at the time of such distressing situation.'
She added that she doesn't have control over most of the scheduled work but would like to walk for something.
The supermodel with an estimated net worth of Rupees 29 million pledges to donate her money from the fashion month of this season following the footsteps of her friend Mica Ganaraz.
Hadid in her long post further wrote that our eyes and hearts must remain open to human injustice and we must see each other as brothers and sisters beyond race, religion and politics.
She concluded by writing at the end of the day innocent lives pay for wars and not the leader. The well-known model prays for those suffering in this difficult situation of war in Ukraine and Palestine.
Hadid made the announcement of her decision on Instagram by posting the pictures from her fashion month of this season taken at the time of her runway walk in Milan and New York.
Apart from Hadid other known celebrities who spoke about the prevailing crisis in Ukraine and come up for support include Ukrainian choreographer Maksim Chmerkovskiy, American actress Mila Kunis and her actor-husband Ashton Kutcher.
