Oscars 2022: Know Date, Time, When And Where To Watch The 94th Academy Awards In India

The much-awaited night of the global entertainment industry is all set to honour the prestigious award of Oscars to the most talented stars across the world.

The world is going to witness outstanding performances to remember forever along with the best films of the year.

The 94th Academy Awards or the Oscars 2022 is scheduled to take place on Sunday 27 March at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California.

In general, the big award show used to take place during early March and late February but this time the slot is delayed to late March due to the global covid pandemic.

Among the 12 impressive nominations, the Power of the Dog by Jane Campion has been leading along with the 'Best picture' category of nominations.

West Side Story, Belfast, Nightmare Alley, Dune, Don't Look Up and Drive my cars are other top contenders of the 'best picture' category for this year's Academy award.

American popular singers Beyonce and Billie Eilish will be performing in the live award show night on Sunday.

The live ceremony will be hosted by 3 great women comedians- Actress Regina Hall, American stand-up comedian Amy Schumer and actress-comedian Wanda Sykes.

Notably, the Indian documentary feature 'Writing With Fire' directed by Rintu Thomas and Sushmit Ghosh has been nominated in the category of Documentary Feature.

The movie buffs must get ready to watch the Oscars award, the biggest night of the film industry on Sunday 27 March 2022 at 08:00 pm ET and 05:00 PT.

In India, the 94th award ceremony will be aired lived at 05:30 am in the morning on Monday 28 March and it will be broadcast on ABC in the United States.

Where to watch Oscars 2022:

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will be streamed live at 06:30 am on the Asian pay-TV channel Star Movies and Indian play television channel Star World.
