New Delhi: Popular American rapper, Snoop Dogg, has confirmed his collaboration with the world-famous Korean band Bantan Boys (BTS).

Snoop Dogg, who is originally known as Calvin Cordozar Broadus will be performing in the upcoming music project by the 7 member boys band BTS.

The 50-year-old rapper made the major announcement and revealed about his collaboration with BTS during the American Song Contest red carpet on Monday 28 March.

As the news came in light of the BTS Army and the fans of Snoop Dogg, they started expressing joy on the social media platform as the two musical sensations are soon coming together.

In an interview, Snoop Dogg shared that he will be working with BTS on new music but was waiting for the Korean boy band to reveal about it to the fans.

"The BTS experience you keep talking about, I am going to let them tell you about it, it's official, like a referee with a whistle," he added.

He continued expressing his love for the entertainment world including the K-Pop as according to Snoop Korean pop is good music and a vibe.

In January this year, Snoop Dogg had revealed that the K-pop band BTS had contacted him to discuss regarding the potential collaboration.

Earlier in an interview, he said that he got a group name BTS willing to work on music with him but he by that was trying to figure out if he had time for the song collaboration.

Notably, Snoop Dogg had earlier worked in a music collaboration with other K-Pop groups including PSY, Girls' Generation, MONSTA X and 2NE1.

The BTS band dominating the global music platform has also made major collaborations with Hollywood solo artists like Coldplay, Steve Aoki, Nicki Minaj, The Chainsmokers, Lauv, Magan Thee Stallion, Halsey and many others.

Meanwhile, the BTS band is all set for their performance at the Grammys followed by the Las Vegas concert in April 2022.
