Hossla Rakh is a movie with emotions and a little comedy directed by Amarjit Singh Saron featuring very popular Shehnaz Gill and others like Diljit Dosanjh, Sonam Bajwa, Shinde Grewal and Anayah Miglani. The story of the film shows a couple getting divorced and the reasons behind their separation are dreams that the wife wants to fulfil. She left her husband before the birth of their son and the father wanted a mother for his newborn child. The story of the film reflects emotions in different kinds of relationships like the emotional bond between the man and a woman, father and his son, son and mother.

Diljit Dosanjh plays the role of a man with the character of Yeney Singh who met his ex-wife as Shehnaz Gill with the character Sweety. Sweety is eager to know the reason why Yeney didn't get married for the second time and with this, the movie goes on a flashback which shows the starting part of their relationship and the circumstances that led to their divorce.

Diljit in the movie is shown as a much-dedicated father as well as husband to try all possible ways to make his family happy. But Sweety's decision to break the relationship to move forward with her passion shattered Yeney and showed his desperate search for a mother for his son. Yeney portrays the character of great simplicity with full of struggle in his life being a single parent.

In the second half of the movie, Sonam Bajwa makes her excellent entry with glamour that seems natural. Her entry brings more light into the film being a character as Jasmine who is a teacher teaching Yoga who is chased by Yeney with her calm behaviour and strong physique.

The integral character in the movie is the son of Yeney named Honsla whose role is played by Shindey Grewal real-life son of famous actor Grippy Gewal. Shinde is another hero in lead and his role in the film with his dedicated acting made the viewers love the character. The funny elements make the film more engaging with the addition of it into feelings and romance.

Shenaaz Gill who was a contestant is big boss is heartbroken after the sudden death of her close friend Siddhart Shukla and therefore this film is much awaited by her fans to see her on-screen.
