House Of Gucci Movie Review: Lady Gaga's Performance in the Film Stands Out

The recent Hollywood film House of Gucci is a true-crime drama directed by Ridley Scott that hit theatres on Wednesday 24 November. House of Gucci is based on a book written by Sara Gay Forden in 2001 named "The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed".

House of Gucci is a story by Becky Johnston that shows an outsider getting married into the Gucci family and soon reveals her true unrestricted ambitions triggering betrayal, revenge and all these finally led to a brutal murder.

The film cast popular stars that include Lady Gaga, Jared Leto, Al Pacino, Jack Huston, Adam Driver, Salma Hayek, Jeremy Irons and others. House of Gucci's Box Office collection by Thursday 25 November is $1.4 million.

House of Gucci shows Lady Gaga as a fashionable woman in a fur cap, golden pieces of jewellery, and gusty, timid with big nails. Her appearance in the movie makes it engaging and stops the viewers from getting over bored. The characters in the film speak Italian accent as women belonging from an average Italian middle class enter the world of famous Guccis.

Lady Gaga playing the role of Patrizia Reggiani falls in love with Maurizio Gussi a member of the Gucci family. After getting married to Maurizio becomes a wife who would never come out of place and then gets frustrated when her husband gives less resignation to decline the family name.

Irons in the film played the role of Rudolfo, who is the old and sick father of Maurizio wishes to be the guardian of the elderly legacy. Jared Leto plays the role of Paola the idiot son of Aldo.

The narrative is somehow disappointing and boring as Maurizio looks like an incomplete little child that his wife says he is. American actress and singer Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta called popularly Lady Gaga stands out throughout the film and shines with her outstanding performance.
