Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff's War is not ready to slow down
The action entertainer War has entered the Rs 300 crore clubs, Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff must be on cloud nine. War movie was directed by Siddharth Anand and that too within 19 days of its release, has been making and breaking records ever since its release on Gandhi Jayanti. It crossed Rs 300-crore mark leaving many blockbusters of 2019 far behind it in its third week.
After Kabir Singh and Dhoom 3, War has now made its Rs 300-crore club. The total collection to Rs 301.75 crore, War has made Rs 5.6 Crore on Sunday.
The festive season turned up to be a boon for both the superstars. On the opening day of Gandhi Jayanti, the film crossed the Rs 50-crore and hit the ball out on Dussehra when it made to the Rs 200-crore club, and now before Diwali, Tiger and Hrithik's film crossed the Rs 300-crore mark.
Two years ago Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff signed the films. Taran Adarsh – trade analyst revealed that War's cost of production was Rs 150 crore. He further said, Hrithik Roshan is a partner in profits.
War managed to attract the huge crowds despite big releases like Joaquin Phoenix's Joker and Chiranjeevi's Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. Still with four days left for Akshay Kumar's Housefull 4 to hit the screens along with Saand ki Aankh and Made in China.
War is not only stormed up at the domestic box office but internationally too. In the International market as well the film is set to cross the Rs 100-crore mark.
War is running still successfully in its third week. The film is ready to break a few more records it seems.
