Inside the Wedding Ceremonies of Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa

Bollywood stars Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa's wedding celebrations began on Saturday with a private party in Chandigarh's elite resort after dating for over a decade. For the party, the bride and groom-to-be wore all-white outfits and were accompanied by their friends and family. Rajkummar was dressed in a white suit, while Patralekhaa wore a white and silver gown with a lengthy train.

Rajkummar is seen in a video getting down on one knee as his bride-to-be replies yes. The two then danced together in front of the visitors, who applauded them. Actor Saqib Saleem and filmmaker Farah Khan were also in attendance. Rajkummar and Patralekhaa have never been shy in expressing their affection for one another. Patralekhaa revealed her love storey in an article for Humans for Bombay in 2019. She revealed that the first time Rajkummar saw her in an advertisement, he imagined he would marry her one day.

"He'd often go out of his way for me," Patralekhaa said. He was late for a meeting with me once, so he got out of the cab near the airport and sprinted all the way to Juhu! Not only that, but he surprised me with my favourite purse, which was insanely costly, although we were both making very little! Someone took it when we were in London years later! I recall crying and phoning him, and he attempted to console me. The bag had so many memories for me since dad had bought it for me when he didn't have much. That meant a great deal to me! The same luggage was waiting for me at our hotel later. These tiny things remind me how fortunate I am to have him."

"When you discover someone you're grateful for - through the arguments, the difficulties, and the craziness, you should never forget to let them know you love them," the actor continued. It doesn't have to be extravagant presents or dates — it might just be the way you hug them when they need it and when they don't. We have no idea what the future holds for us, but being together is enough."
