Kangana Ranaut and Team Wrap-Up the Shooting of Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi

Needless to say that it’s a wrap for Kangana Ranaut starrer Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. The film completed its shooting yesterday and the crew members strike a pose with the stars of the film. Zee Studios, who is one of the co-producers of the film shared the news on their twitter handle, "And, it's a wrap! #Manikarnika -The Queen of Jhansi to release on January 25, 2019."

This historical movie was in the news for quite sometime after Sonu Sood and Swati Semwal's sudden exit from the film. Worth mentioning that Swati was portraying the character of Parvati, wife of Sadashiv Bhau. Initially was Sonu Sood's character. Manikarnika later grabbed eye-balls, when the rumours came out that Kangana Ranaut highjacked the project from director Krish though the makers of the film cleared the air and rubbished all the rumours.

Speaking about the role of Manikarnika, the film will also feature the acting debut of Deepika Padukone s ex-boyfriend, Nihaar Pandya. In the chronological drama, he will portray the character of Baji Rao the second (II). It also features Jisshu Sengupta, Vaibhav Tatwawaadi and television actress, Ankita Lokhande, in pivotal roles.

This most awaited historical drama will hit the theatres on January 25 and will be locking the horns with Hrithik Roshan's Super 30 and Emraan Hashmi's Cheat India at the box office.
