KGF: Chapter 2 makers release Sanjay Dutt's look from the film on actor's 61st birthday

Sanjay shared the poster on Instagram and wrote, "It's been a pleasure working on this film and I couldn't have asked for a better birthday gift. Sanjay can be seen with braided hair, a tattoo on his face, holding a staff or a sword in his hand, and a stud in his ear. Adheera is seated perhaps in a dungeon and is seen wearing a heavy metallic jacket.

Yash says Sanjay was always the first choice of playing the role of the prime antagonist in the film. He says, "Sanjay ji was the first choice for the role from the beginning. Even when we planned to make the film only in Kannada, he was chosen for the character of Adheera. When Prashant narrated the character, he was hell-bent on signing Sanjay. We had even approached him for the first part, but he was occupied with some other commitment."

KGF Chapter 1 showed the story of Rocky, born into penury, and contracted to kill Garuda who was an oppressive heir in waiting in Kolar Goldfields in Karnataka. In the second part of the franchise, Adheera is greedy for power and wants to rule Kolar Gold mines.
