Korean Celebrity Power Couples From K-Pop Idols Hyuna & Dawn to Rain & Kim Tae-Hee

Fans always have their eye on their favourite Korean celebrity couple therefore it becomes difficult for the couples to maintain secrecy in their relationships.

The matters between relationships of stars often get public and discussed by many especially when the relationship is between younger male and older women or LGBTQ+ relationships.

There are a few Korean celebrities who have faced a lot of controversies while being in a relationship and fighting for their partner for different reasons. But all these couples emerged to be the power couples who continue to be each other despite the controversies.

1. Shin Min-ah and Kim Woo-bin:

Korean popular celebrities Shin Min-ah and Kim Woo-bin were constantly in the spotlight for their relationship as Shin is five years older than her boyfriend Kim. In the year 2015, the couple officially announced their relationship but later for their public disappearance it was romoured that the bond didn't last long. In 2017 Kim was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer and Shin used to take care of him throughout his treatment. There are also romours of the couple getting married soon.

2. Hyuna and Dawn:

Rapper Dawn and K-pop star Hyuna made their relationship public in the year 2018 but since then the couple faced a lot of controversy because of their rule-breaking relationship. Hyuna had made it clear to everyone as she didn't wish to hide anything from her fans. Hyuna's contract was terminated as informed by Cube Entertainment and even Dawn was fired from the agency but their rose in support of both the artist. But the couple fought all obstacles and recently they had released '1+1+1' which is their first duet together.

3. Han Hye-jin and Ki Sung Yueng:

Within a very short period of time Han Hye-jin is known for her role in Jumong for an intense relationship with the former Premier League football player Ki Sung Yueng. During the initial period, the couple denied their relationship and also denied the marriage rumours but in 2013 the couple got married and also had a daughter. The couple was often targeted for the reason that Han is eight years older than her husband Ki Sung Yueng.

4. Taeyang and Min Hyo-rin:

Bigbang fame Taeyang and Korean actress Min Hyo-rin were seen sharing on-screen chemistry in a 2013 music video but later turned out to be in real life relationship. Min is two years older than Taeyang therefore it was not easy for her to deal with the relationship as she faced a lot of controversy from the fans of Taeyang. Though the couple tie the knot in February 2018 and after in September they shared the news about welcoming their first child.

5. Rain and Kim Tae-hee:

The relationship of Hallyu King Rain and Kim Tae-hee seems to be much interesting as it was love at first sight. In 2012 they started dating secretly and after one year they made it public. Kim went on date during official military duty breaking the military guidelines as a result of which the K-pop star was sentenced to 7 days of imprisonment. This brought them into the spotlight with a lot of controversies but despite all these the couple stood by each other and finally got married in 2017 and had 2 daughters.
