Oscar-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio turns 47 on 11 November 2021 and wishes pours in for the actor from fans all over the world. Fans have taken over Twitter to wish DiCaprio on his 47th birthday.

Leonardo Wilhelm DiCaprio an actor with a diverse acting career was born on 11 November 1974 in Los Angeles of California. The actor has begun his acting career at the age of 5 by acting in Romper Room, a television show of children.

Very few might know that the American actor has an Indian connection as Peggy Ann Farar who is the stepmother of DiCaprio is an Amritdhari Sikh who sports all the 5 K's. Peggy had earlier just supported the religion of Sikhism and became completely devoted in 2010. The actor lived with Peggy during his childhood and shares a good bond as she was the 2nd wife of his father George DiCaprio. His father married Peggy when he was just one year old and his mother Iremelin Indenbirken got separated from the family.

The actor is connected with India as he had worked with Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan in a 2013 romantic drama film 'The Great Gatsby'. In the movie, Amitabh played the character of Meyer Wolfsheim who is a gambler and appears for just a while.
