Alia said: “Madhuri ma’am is so sweet. Before I had begun the shoot, I used to be very nervous. Standing in the same frame, even thinking of matching up to her is not possible. But believe me, she made it really easy for all of us. She is gorgeous and that we had an amazing time shooting together. There’s Ghar More Pardesiya where I’m dancing around her and she’s thankfully not dancing. Otherwise, I might have just died.”

Kalank is an epic saga of love and is set in the 1940s. Directed by Abhishek Varman, Karan (who has produced it) had said that it was a dream project of his father, late Yash Johar, and himself.
