Manmarziyaan Trailer: Anurag Kashyap Spins Abhishek Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal in a Love Triangle

Manmarziyaan Trailer: Anurag Kashyap Spins Abhishek Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal in a Love Triangle

Anurag Kashyap returns to the mustard fields of Punjab, nine years after Dev D (2009) with his upcoming film Manmarziyaan. The trailer, released today, introducing the characters played by Abhishek Bachchan, Taapsee Pannu, and Vicky Kaushal caught in an intense love triangle. If that hasn’t got you excited, wait till you hear more about the movie, which has often been claimed as Abhishek’s ideal comeback film. Aanand L. Rai has gone on record to confirm the news agencies that the film is “a complex yet beautiful love story with relatable human emotions”.

In the movie, Taapsee plays Rumi, a woman who is torn between a man, who would not commit marriage to her, and another man, whom she doesn't love but marries anyway. Vicky Kaushal is playing his namesake, an attractive, responsibility young man in Punjab, who is all for love, but he can't bring himself to discuss marriage with the girl's parents. Abhishek Bachchan plays a Sikh in the movie, who will be seen falling for Taapsee. Hold a second, wasn’t Vicky Kaushal paired with Taapsee? And, didn't the latest poster of the movie also suggest that?

Anurag is a capable person to choose the actors who are best-fit for his project. He has literally helped Nawazuddin Siddiqui in becoming a star. Needless to say, his choice was perfect, as Nawazuddin has proved that with his amazing acting skills. Anurag is acting as the biggest support for Vineet Kumar Singh. Anurag is mentoring Vineet for ‘Mukkabaaz’. Both the actors (Nawazuddin & Vineet) have received a lot of appreciation for their performances, and if one can remember, Vicky has already proven himself in Anurag’s film ‘Raman Raghav 2.0,’ previously.

The "Pink" actress Taapsee is on her career-high with the movies like ‘Baby’, ‘Pink’, ‘Mulk’ and ‘Soorma’ to her credit, and Abhishek, who has been forgotten despite doing movies like ‘Guru’, ‘Paa’, ‘Bluffmaster’ and a few others, probably, could not have asked for a better director and producer, in short, a better movie than ‘Manmarziyan’.

The trailer is out today, so it will reveal what each character plays in Manmarziyaan, and if the reports are true and Abhishek plays a grey character, it might just become a turning point in his career.
