Miss World 2018, Manushi Chhillar is All Set to Enter Bollywood

Manushi Chhillar, who recently concluded her Beauty with a Purpose tour by travelling all around the world, is now set to embark on a new journey if the rumours are to be believed. The diva, who is still riding high on her historic Miss World 2017 win and will now crown the Miss World 2018, will soon have her Bollywood debut under the Dharma Productions.

Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Siddharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor, what is the one thing that is common among these actors' Bollywood debut? Well, the answer is, Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. As per the report, Karan Johar has provided a big budget Bollywood break to late Sridevi daughter's Jahnvi Kapoor in Dhadak and Ananya Pandey and Tara Sutaria in Student Of The Year 2 (slated for release in 2019), Karan is all set to launch Manushi in his untitled film, which is all set to go on the floors by next year.

Miss World Manushi Chhillar said, "I would love to work in an Aamir Khan film as the superstar is known to make socially-relevant movies". Manushi was recently crowned Miss World 2017 at a grand event held in Sanya, China. The medical student from Haryana said, "I find all the actors in Bollywood beautiful but Aamir and former Miss World Priyanka Chopra are my favourites."

When asked if she has Bollywood plans up next, she said the film industry was not on her mind right now. “I am very excited how this year will turn out. I’ll be travelling, visiting continents. We will be spreading awareness about menstrual hygiene where I’ll be joined by my other Miss World sisters. That’s what makes me excited right now. Bollywood is something which is still not on my mind as of now. I really can’t say anything about entering Bollywood now,” she added.

Manushi said in the initial weeks of the beauty pageant, several contestants thought her to be an actor. “In the first week of the pageant, they thought I was a Bollywood actress. But jokes apart, we all are very similar. We didn’t have any preconceived notions about each other. We go there with a fresh mind, there’s a lot of curiosity to know each other,” she said.
