No Matter What the Tide Brings in, We Have Each Other: Sussanne Khan's Warm Message to Sonali Bendre

Sonali Bendre’s latest photographs are proof that the actress has the rarest gem of them all; Sussanne Khan; a friend for life. Sussane has always been there for her, giving her support, care and love she needs during the crucial time of her life as she fights cancer.

Sussanne Khan shared a series of warm and friendly pictures with Sonali Bendre and Swadesh actor Gayatri Oberoi along with an emotional message “What I know for sure... I know for sure that no matter what the tide brings in we have each other to carry on our backs n swim safely to the shore...I know for sure in a world filled with question marks, these have all my answers... and I definitely know how beautiful the future is going to be because I have them to share it with my force field Sonali Bendre, Gayatri Oberoi. All for one, one for all”.

Sonali revealed in the month of July that she has been diagnosed with cancer. She said “Sometimes, when you least expect it, life throws you a curveball. I have recently been diagnosed with high-grade cancer that has metastasized, which we frankly did not see coming. A niggling pain led to some tests, which led to this unexpected diagnosis. My family and close friends have rallied around me, providing the best support system that anyone can ask for. I am very blessed and thankful for each of them.” And later, on Friendship Day she shared a ‘bald is beautiful’ photo to signal that she is fighting cancer with positivity and fortitude.

She is currently undergoing chemotherapy in New York and has her husband Goldie Behl by her side. Sonali had and has been receiving support and blessings from film fraternity members and fans in abundance.
