Actor cum model Tanushree Dutta recently opened up about being sexually harassed by iconoclastic actor Nana Patekar. In an interaction with ANI, Shakti Kapoor was asked to remark on the incident where Nana Patekar was said to behave unsuitably with the actress while shooting for a song on the sets of Horn 'OK' Pleassss and according to the actress he also sent goons to vandalize her car as she tried to fly from the premises.
On the contrary, the veteran actor said is of the opinion that he had no knowledge of the case. When the actor was being briefly informed about the matter, he replied laughing saying "This was 10 years ago, I was a kid back then."
And Kapoor's comments come in the wake of several Bollywood celebrities like Farhan Akhtar, Swara Bhaskar, Richa Chadha speaking out in support of Dutta. Worth mentioning that recently at a media event, Varun Dhawan had much-admired the actress' bravery and simultaneously spoke about the need to have a safe workplace environment for men, women and children alike. Along with other celebrities actress, Renuka Shahane had also shared an open letter addressing the incident.
Nevertheless, various others have dismissed Dutta's claims. They labeled it as her publicity stunt. And item girl Rakhi Sawant replaced the actress in the song, called Dutta a liar and a drug addict.
