Stomach Cancer Rumour Denied By Shahid Kapoor, Told Fans Not To Believe In 'Random Stuff'
Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor on Monday around midnight took to his Twitter handle so as to clear the air around the rumours of him suffering from stomach cancer. The rumour mill was doing the rounds lately that after Irrfan Khan, Sonali Bendre and Tahira Kashyap, the latest B-town celeb to own fallen prey to cancer was Shahid Kapoor.
In his tweet, the 37-year-old actor rubbished all the reports that suggested he has been diagnosed with gastric cancer. Shahid gave a health update to his fans by claiming that he is totally fine. He further urged his followers to not believe in random stuff.
The rumour mill had gone droning over the internet last week and currently, Shahid has acted with a full-throated denial concerning the false speculations. Prior to the confirmation by Shahid himself, a family member reportedly had also reacted to the rumours. Infuriated by the misleading reports, the family member told to the media that spreading rumours like such is unacceptable and how can people go about writing anything without any basis of truth.
Amid the rumours, Shahid Kapoor was seen actively posting on social media that hinted at the falsity of the reports. On Saturday, Shahid posted a sun-kissed selfie with wife Mira Rajpoot, however, the huge rock on her finger was the important highlight of the image.
On the professional front, Shahid would next be seen in Kabir Singh, which is a Hindi remake of the south Indian movie Arjun Reddy. It is slated to hit the theatres on June 21, 2019. In his last movie Batti Gul Meter Chalu, Shahid was seen opposite Shraddha Kapoor.
