Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case: Mumbai Police Concealed Information, Claims Former Bihar DGP

NEW DELHI: Gupteshwar Pandey, a former DGP of Bihar, claims that something is being withheld by Mumbai Police two days after a worker at Cooper Hospital alleged that Sushant Singh Rajput was murdered. When the late actor's father filed an FIR in Patna in the year 2020 and the then-DGP dispatched a special team of Bihar Police to Mumbai to investigate, Pandey was in charge of the investigation. Speaking to the news organisation ANI right now, he claimed that although his team had gone to examine the crime, the Mumbai Police had refused to assist them.

In his most recent allegations, Pandey claimed that Mumbai Police had treated his team unethically and had even placed one officer under house arrest. "I thought the Mumbai Police was hiding something because of their unethical behaviour toward a team of officers dispatched from Bihar. A member of the IPS was dispatched and placed under house arrest, the man claimed.

He continued by saying that due to the obstacles the Mumbai Police put in their way, his team was not given enough time to fully investigate the situation. "My team and I did not have adequate time for inquiry," stated Pandey. If I had been given 15 days, the case would have been resolved and handled differently now.

The now-priest former director general of Bihar emphasized that because Maharashtra's government has changed and its chief minister has also ordered the creation of an SIT to look into the case, things may get better. "Now that (Maharashtra's) administration has changed, let's hope the truth comes out. The entire matter is being investigated by a Special Investigation Team (SIT)," he added.

An earlier statement made by a senior employee at Cooper Hospital, where Sushant's post-mortem was performed, gave the case a fresh twist: "When I viewed Sushant's body, it did not appear to be a case of suicide. His physique bore signs of previous injuries. My experience spanned more than 28 years. I met my senior but he said the discussion will take place later."

He described what happened on the day of the post-mortem. When the clothing was taken off, the body had visible signs of beating, according to Roopkumar Shah. Two or three locations on the neck had visible damage marks. It appeared as though the hands and legs were broken from being beaten. On the body, there were severe wounds. It wasn't a question of if the video shoot would go place. Seniors were additionally requested to focus solely on the images. we put effort into it, said the former DGP of Bihar.
