The Academy pays tribute to Irrfan Khan in montage of world cinema, clip goes viral

Guwahati: The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences (which hands out the Oscars each year) shared a video on their Twitter account, celebrating the idea of hope. The video is a beautiful montage that features some of the best films made over the years. At the end of this video is a clip from late actor Irrfan Khan's film, The Life of Pi, where he says that his "happy ending is up to you."

The video serves as a means to remember hope, even when the times seem bleak, that at the end of every storm, there will be sunlight. More so, the video works as a tribute to the genius of Irrfan Khan who passed away earlier this year.

The video montage features shots from iconic and greats of world cinema like Her, The Shawshank Redemption, Captain Marvel, Parasite, Interstellar, Black Panther, The School Of Rock, The Dark Knight, Legally Blonde, Little Women, etc.
