Thugs of Hindostan starring Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Katrina Kaif releases today. The film is helmed by Vijay Krishna Acharya aka Viktor. Thugs of Hindostan is an action-adventure film with an incredible ensemble solid. The story is about in 1795 wherever Aamir plays the role of a thug or pirate called as Firangi Mallah. Amitabh Bachchan essays the role of the Thugs commander named Khudabaksh Azaad. Fatima Sana Shaikh's character could be a warrior-archer and therefore the name of her character is Zafira.

The movie 'Thugs of Hindostan' is based on a true story of the Philip Meadows Taylor's 1839 novel, Confessions of a Thug. It is about a gang who posed a serious challenge to the British Empire in India during the early 19th century. For the film, Yash Raj has built two mammoth ships weighing two lakh kilos on which the film has been shot. The film is all set to be released on November 8. The movie has been budgeted at approximately Rs 300 crore.

This is Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif's second film along when Dhoom 3 (2013) that was also directed by Viktor. However, in the Thug Of Hindostan, they don't seem to be enjoying every other's romantic interest. Katrina Kaif plays the role of a dancer named Suraiyya and Aamir's character is in love with her beauty and dancing skills. Thugs of Hindostan is Aamir Khan's massive Diwali release after 22 years. When the trailer was out, many of us compared it with Pirates of the Caribbean.
