Review

'Bheemante Vazhi', Ashraf Hazma's second directorial effort, is a rooted comedy, dealing with everyday issue that delightfully shows one quarrel over a route, Chemban builds a partially humorous and subtly sentimental storey around a fundamental theme. Director repeats his Thamaasha style minimalism humor treatment to make a continually interesting film

Bheemante Vazhi is a sophisticated comedy with appealing politics, with practically; all the characters contributed their part well.

The main character is Sanju, also known as Bheeman. The path leading to his house, as well as several other surroundings homes, is exceedingly tiny. Sanju realised the importance of a wide road that surround everyone houses and just after his mother fell and fractured her leg at a night, and the problem to get her to the hospital, made him more concern regarding the road. The film shows strong women characters also ,including the feisty local councilor, lawyer and a railway engineer, among others.

The movie shows the challenges, that he had to deal with and his efforts to enlarge the existing path by securing consent from house owners and government officials are also depicted in Bhhemante Vazhi.

Jinu Joseph's performance as Kosthep, the major antagonist, was a breath of fresh air. Jinu nails the character's tone, and his dialogue delivery this time complemented the character's personality. Other notable names in the cast include Chemban Vinod Jose as the soft-spoken Maharshi, Divya M Nair as the councillor, Naseer Sankranthi as the pet-loving neighbour, Chinnu Chandni as the Judo teacher, Ashwin Matthew as the doctor, Binu Pappu as the auto-driver, and others, all of whom looked perfect for the roles they were given.

Vincy Aloshious and Suraj Venjaramoodu make memorable cameos, while Chemban Vinod, who is also the co-producer as well. Overall the movie is an entertaining piece along with different layers of emotions and showing two different perspectives make more engaging comedy.
